Why Retrofit

In each instance our goal is to raise the production quality and availability of the installation. Also statutory laws in the areas of safety of operations, lowering of emissions etc. can play an important role for a Retrofit measure.

Existing installations are updated through the exchange of older components with the addition of new, current technological developments. The advantage for the plant operator lies with the updating of the facility and consequently the increase of production with markedly lower expenses commensurate to the new acquisition of an equivalent installation.

Frequently ,through introduction of new,advanced production technologies , new production facilities (plants) will be built as a consequence to guarantee uninterupted product supply . After going into production at the new installation the old installations are offered for sale. These are frequently sold to less financially strong countries where installations with a lesser degree of automation but higher personnel requirements can produce economically. Once these installations are transformed the opportunity to modernize in part will follow.
